  Winter Reading Program

Did you love earning prizes for reading books during the summer?
We are excited to have our first ever Winter Reading Program.

This program is for students in 1st-8th grade.

Registration will take place starting December 11th.  At registration you will receive
a list of recommended books and different genres to try.

Students will also receive their first prize and a journal to keep track of the books they read.

Students can start keeping track of any books that they read after December 21st(the first day of Winter).

Students can add books to their journals until Tuesday, March 20th (first day of Spring).

Students are encouraged to stop by the library once a week to show their
reading journals to a children's department staff member and claim prizes.

Each student is to set a goal of how much he or she will try to read during the winter.

Extra prizes will be awarded to students who reach their goal.

We are SO excited to try out a Winter Reading Program!
